Welcome to deutmeyer pottery.   My name is Patty Deutmeyer and I have always been attracted to the creative process.  I enjoy creating something from nothing that is hopefully not only functional but beautiful as well.

 

I work primarily in stoneware with a variety of food safe glazes that are both functional and beautiful.

 

I create my pottery approximately 30-minutes from the mighty Mississippi river in Dyersville, Iowa.  You may have heard of this us;  our claim to fame is the "Field of Dreams" movie site.
